To create or manage your MyHein account, simply click and expand the MyHein menu option found the upper right are of the toolbar.
Clicking Create will open up the MyHein Registration form. Simply fill it out with the required information, indicate whether you want to receive product and promotional alerts and click Register.
After creating a MyHein account, users may create Electronic Table of Contents (eTOC) Alerts as a way to ensure that you will never miss a new issue of your selected list of titles. Alerts will be sent to you as soon as content is uploaded to HeinOnline.
To create a title-specific eTOC Alerts, find the title that you wish to receive alerts for. After you've found the title, click on it to open the title's landing page, where you will see a list of available content, and a button to "Create eTOC Alert." Click that link and your alert will be created.
To manage existing alerts, log into your MyHein account, select the eTOC Alerts tab, and you will be given a variety of options to manage your alerts, including editing and removing alerts.

In addition to eTOC alerts for specific titles and journals, MyHein users can also create alerts for specific authors that will create a notification when one or more of the following occurs:
To set up an author alert, go to the author's profile page, which can be found either by clicking on the author's name in an article they wrote, by going to the Author Profiles tab in the Law Journal Library, or simply by searching for the author by name using the Advanced Search option below the HeinOnline search bar.
Once on an author's profile page, simply click the Bell Icon image to set up an alert. A context menu will open, which will let you select the type of alert and the email address for delivery. Once an author alert has been created, they can be managed within your MyHein profile under the Author Alerts tab.
