  1. Point your browser to https://ualearn.blackboard.com/ and log in using your myBama credentials (userID@crimson.ua.edu), NOT your law school credentials (userID@law.ua.edu).
  2. On the top side of the screen you should see several menu tabs.  Find and select the “My Courses” tab.  This will open a page displaying all courses in which you are currently enrolled. All 1Ls should already be enrolled in a class titled “LAW-610-Legal-Research,” but you may see other classes as well.

  1. Once you click on the class, you should land on the course homepage. There will be links on the left side of the screen for course content.  For the 1L legal research course these will include the course syllabus, guides for each topic, interactive videos, and course exercises that you will need to complete for the course.
  2. If you need assistance with the course web page, contact Iain Barksdale.  You may also access Blackboard-specific FAQs and technical support by selecting your personal profile in the upper left and then clicking the "?" icon at the bottom of your profile screen.
