Searching

The best way to find recent dockets and briefs is to hover over the "Cases" link, which users can use to access the terms from the last 5 years. For those older cases, if users hover over "Cases," they will notice "Term Archive" under the links for the last 5 years, which will redirect users to a page with a list of terms beginning in October 2007 and ending with the most recent term. If you select one of these terms, you will be routed to a page which lists cases from each term, providing information such as case names, the docket number, the date argued, the transcripts and audio for the argument, the date decided, and a brief summary of the issue or the holding. If you click on the case name, it will provide even further detail, such as the vote decision and the docket for the case.

For example: if you select October Term 2012, you'll find Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum, No. 10-1491

If you scroll further down, you will find the docket for the case, as well as links to any available documents.
