
A few highlights from the legislative history summary found at the top of the page
When you use search bar to search in full text publications, you are searching within the publications in the compiled history you are viewing. This allows you to search for a particular phrase or clause in the history of the law. This is useful for finding evidence of legislative intent or discussion of particular issues, or even the origin of words and phrases.
The data at the top of the legislative history document includes the PDF of the public law, the enacted bill number, and a permalink you can add to bibliographies or just copy and paste to track your work.

Under the Summary portion, are the publications, as well as filtering and sorting options. You can use Sorted By to to sort the results by Content Type or by Date. You can also filter your results by Congress or by Content Type (Bills, Congressional Record, etc.)
