The Law Library will close at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 and resume normal hours at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31. Law faculty and students may continue to use the Law Library facilities as personal safety permits.

UA ALERT: With the impending threat of severe weather this evening, normal UA operations will be suspended at 4 p.m. today through 5 a.m. Thursday, March 31. All evening classes will be canceled. Campus emergency officials are actively monitoring the weather.

Severe weather forecasts place Tuscaloosa and our campus in a moderate (level 4 of 5) risk of severe weather with a potential for high winds, thunderstorms and possible tornadoes between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Watch for UA Alert notifications with instructions. When a tornado watch is issued, campus storm shelters will open. If a tornado warning is announced, take shelter immediately.

Please continue to stay weather aware. Watch your UA email for any additional notifications. Download the UA Safety app and follow @UA_Safety on Twitter for weather updates and other safety-related information. Information about severe weather affecting Tuscaloosa and UA is also available on 92.5 FM UA Info Radio
